Mansion in May is the preeminent designer showhouse in the New Jersey- New York area and is typically attended by up to 25,000 visitors. Splendor in September at Tyvan Hill in New Vernon, New Jersey was open to the public with all the appropriate safety measures in place from September 8 through October 4, 2020 and welcomed over 8,000 visitors to tour the estate, including its lovely gardens and award-winning Norman-French styled brick and stone country manor house typical of the large country residences built in New Vernon during the 1920s. Tyvan Hill was brought to life through the design inspirations of 37 leading interior designers and 13 landscape architects. Those who did not have an opportunity to visit in person can tour the "Treasures of Tyvan Hill" via WAMMC's first-ever Mansion in May Video Tour at https://www.mansioninmay. org/video-tour. "Over the last 20 years Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute has become a nationally ranked program serving thousands of heart patients each year. This unprecedented growth, which has elevated patient care in our community, has also created pressing challenges," said Trish O'Keefe, PhD, RN, President, Morristown Medical Center. "Our increasing patient volume has outpaced the capacity to meet demand, and we are extremely grateful to the Women's Association for their support of our campaign. This support will help us continue to position Morristown Medical Center to meet the current and future growth of our heart hospital." "The success of our 'Mansion in May Presents Splendor in September Designer Showhouse and Gardens' can be attributed to the support of our sponsors, interior and landscape designers and media partners," said Katie Nolle, President, Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center. "We are most grateful to our co-chairs, Pat O'Connor and Kathy Ross and the entire Mansion in May Committee for their patience, fortitude, detailed planning and, more importantly, their dedication to deliver on our pledge to raise the much-needed funds to benefit the expansion of the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute." WAMMC has proudly presented Mansion in May, its premier signature fundraiser since 1974 having raised over $11.5 million to benefit Morristown Medical Center. ABOUT THE WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION FOR MORRISTOWN MEDICAL CENTER: Founded in March 1893 to provide financial support to Morristown Medical Center, part of the Atlantic Health System, the Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) helps enable the hospital to respond to the changing healthcare needs of the community. With a volunteer base of more than 400 members, WAMMC hosts a number of fundraising events, anchored by the flagship event, Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens. WAMMC also operates the hospital's gift shops and The Bargain Box Thrift Boutique, as well as WAMMC Network TV, which created Calling All Kids and is the first in-house family television station for young patients and their families to enjoy during their stay at the hospital. WAMMC is an integral part of the hospital's ability to continue bringing cutting-edge technology and superior health services to the community, and has raised more than $25 million to date to support this mission.
