Join your family, friends and community in Downtown Clinton on Friday,
October 30, beginning at dusk, for the Clinton Guild's Annual Pumpkin Fest!
You'll marvel at the illuminated carved and painted pumpkins lovingly created by residents
and visitors. Pumpkin entries will be accepted from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Ribbons
will be awarded for the most creative carvings for both adults and children, with no cost
to enter. Unleash your creativity and give your pumpkin your best shot, because there
will be a special People's Choice Award that's judged by all visitors – with a $100
cash prize! CDC Guidlines will be in effect.
There will be entertainment for all – Wanda The Wacky Witch might even
make an appearance! Enjoy an evening of magic and more throughout our beloved
downtown. Bring the entire family for a night of fun, which will be held rain or shine.

"Most" broadleaf weeds that inhabit Hunterdon County lawns are peren-
nial and will return in the spring if not treated. October is an excellent
time to eliminate these broadleaf weeds in your lawn. Broadleaf weed
control products appropriate for this time of year are systemic which
means they are applied to the weed leaf and translocated to the roots.
These products are most effective when applied above sixty degrees. Sys-
temic broadleaf lawn weed control should be applied two to three weeks
prior to overseeding or after newly seeded lawn areas have been mowed
two or three times. Always read product labels for specific precautions.
We hope to see you soon at one of our stores! Mendham Garden
