Round Valley School Robert Lovering: My name is Robert Lovering, I just graduated in June from Drexel University with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. This year, I will be filling in for Mrs. Rivers' in 5th grade while she is on leave. I have worked in the Clinton Township School District for 8 years as a custodian and completed my student teaching in fourth grade last school year. When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my wife of five years, Allison, and our two beagles, Lilly and Carson. We currently live in Flemington, New Jersey. I also enjoy watching football (Go Eagles!), going on hikes, and riding my bike around the neighborhood. Susan Simonelli: My name is Susan Simonelli, and I'm excited to be back at Round Valley School as a Literacy Support Teacher this year. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from York College of Pennsylvania and my Teacher of the Handicapped Certification from Kean University. Last year, I worked at Round Valley School as a substitute teacher as well as a 5th Grade Leave Replacement Teacher. I live in Clinton Township with my husband, 4 children, and 2 dogs. Outside of school, my kids keep me very busy! We can usually be found going back and forth to sporting activities or dance classes. I love to read a good book, spend time with family and go to the beach. Jaclyn Rivas: My name is Jaclyn Rivas, and I will be teaching fourth grade at Round Valley School. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University in 2013. I also attended Centenary College from 2014 to 2016 where I studied elementary and special education. Last year, I worked at Spruce Run School as a Teacher Assistant and did a leave replacement in 5th grade at Round Valley School. I live in Easton, PA with my husband and two dogs. I enjoy reading, knitting, and taking care of my dogs. Margaret Loughman: My name is Maggie Loughman and I'm thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade at Round Valley School. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Delaware in 2010, followed by several years in social work and child advocacy (and an exciting summer on a dude ranch!). Working with children has always been a passion of mine, so I returned to school and got my teaching certification through Seton Hall University. Most recently, I taught 5th grade in Somerset County. I live in Annandale, NJ, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. In my free time, you can find me reading, exercising, playing music, or working on a crossword puzzle! Noel McCormick: I am so excited to join the Clinton Township School District team as the new music teacher at Round Valley School! I am a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, and before this year was working in the South Brunswick School District. I am passionate about not only teaching music, but performing it as well, and am also an active professional singer- both as a soloist and choral singer. My husband is also a music teacher and singer, and is the choir director at Holmdel High School. When I am not teaching, lesson planning, or performing, I can be found baking, planning a Disney trip, or hanging out with our newly adopted orange cat Sonny!
