After much planning and dedication to our children and the community, our Administrators and members of the faculty and staff have started the 2020- 2021 school year with excitement. Our collaborative partners, Hunterdon Medical Center, Hunterdon County Board of Health, and Dr. Frank, our District Physician, have worked with all members to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all the members of our educational community. The members of the Clinton Township Board of Education genuinely care about our District. Their support enabled all structures within the District to complete comprehensive planning to offer our children a positive, safe, healthy, and meaningful school experience. The parents and all the members of the Clinton Township community are our partners. Together we reinforce the values of this fine community and model good and positive citizenship. Together, we all influence the life of a child. As the Interim Superintendent, thank you for your support. Please review all the exciting happenings within our schools. Be safe and be well. Sincerely, Johanna S. Ruberto, Ed.D., Interim Superintendent Dear Clinton Township Community Members: Spruce Run School Dear Families, Welcome to Preschool at Spruce Run School. I am thrilled to be leading the team of educators and providers as they guide and teach our youngest minds. Preschool is a stepping off point for every child on their educational path. We are proud to provide the foundation and the environment for exploration, curiosity, and play. This is the year for our youngest Clinton Township School District students to shine brightly in the classroom and leave their mark. Wonder and movement will fill the halls of Spruce Run School to engage each preschool student and prepare them to be active students and lifelong learners. Discovery is our theme this year and we welcome you and your family to collaborate and experience new adventures with your child as they create music, explore movement, share stories, and become deliberate thinkers. At Spruce Run School, we value communication and engagement to fully experience preschool and all that each child brings to our school community. The family- school connection is key to your child's success and we look forward to sharing your child's progress throughout the year. I encourage you to ask questions, share ideas, and participate in activities and events as we grow and nurture our youngest school community in Clinton Township School District. We are at the ready with fun and colorful activities, energetic educators, and a dynamic team that cannot wait to explore and dream alongside each preschool class. I ask you to ask your child each day about WHO they helped today, WHAT made them smile today, and to TELL you about something or someone from their class. We will help you with ideas along the way to keep your child engaged, communicating, and sharing. I hope that you are able to take some time to explore our website, www.SRS.CTSDNJ.org and learn more about our school and district. If you have any questions or need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to working in partnership with you to help your child to learn, explore and grow. Sincerely, Alexa Ingram, Director of Special Services
