Meals Hunterdon Healthcare System holds its Annual meeting on Thursday, May 2 at 5 pm in the auditorium at Hunterdon Medical Center. During the meeting new trustees will be elected and Robert Wise, President and CEO for Hunterdon Healthcare, will give a presentation regarding achievements in 2012. Event open to the public. This popular fundraiser not only supports Meals on Wheels' programs, but it can put you on the road to a dream vacation. Meals on Wheels is offering a limited number of tickets for the chance to win two round-trip United Airline tickets to anywhere United Airlines flies (maximum value $1,500). Sound too good to be true? This could be your lucky year. A single ticket costs $20.00. In 2012, the agency sold 654 tickets and raised $13,080 for the agency. This year we are offering 750 tickets to be sold which makes the odds of winning very good indeed. Buy a book of five tickets for $100 and your chances of winning increases! The airline tickets will be good for one year from the drawing date set for May 31. Meals on Wheels in Hunterdon is a not-for-profit agency that depends on over 500 volunteers to deliver hot noontime meals to the homebound elderly and/or disabled in Hunterdon County. In 2012, Meals on Wheels delivered and served over 54,000 meals between all programs. Proceeds from ticket sales support the programs of Meals on Wheels.
