Never yet was a springtime, when the buds forgot to bloom. ~ Margaret Elizabeth Sangster a l l a R e W e l C o m e ! Please join us for the 22nd Annual George Dooley Golf Outing at Beaver Brook Golf Club in Annandale! It will be held on Saturday, June 13. The cost is $150 per person which includes lunch, greens fees, cart, and dinner. We will hold a 50/50 Raffle and also a Silent Auction with a chance to win some wonderful prizes! And, if you are not a golfer, feel free to join us for the dinner part of the evening only. The George Dooley Memorial Foundation is a tax exempt charitable trust established in 1998 after the death of former Linden High School teacher and coach, George Dooley, with the purpose of promoting education. In recent years, the Foundation partnered with the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA) and donates a portion of the outing proceeds to support their educational and advocacy efforts. George loved all sports and always fostered good sportsmanship and respect on the court and in the classroom. He lived a life of generosity and goodness and was a cherished son, husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend. His family is pleased to be honoring George's life and legacy with this golf outing! It is the family's mission to raise awareness about HCM and educate others about this disease. For more information on how to participate in or make a donation to this wonderful and fun event, please go to georgedooley.org. If you have any questions, please email Mary Ellen (Dooley) Berg at: njbergs@comcast. net. Hope to see you all there!
