The Woman's Club of Tewksbury is a Club of strong, responsible, resourceful
women who have come together with a purpose! Through our charitable donations,
this year we have made a difference in the lives of women and high schools seniors
through educational scholarships, support for Dance for The Cure, children and
foster children through local schools, PTA and Athletic Association, and CASA
SHAW, families in need through the Tewksbury Assistance Fund, Open Pantry,
SAFE in Hunterdon and Hunterdon Drug Awareness, and Family Promise,
senior citizens with luncheons, plays, senior service projects and local nursing home
support; international Days For Girls Project, and the collection of 1,138 pairs of
shoes for the Soles4Souls Project, veterans by sponsoring the annual Wreaths
Across America Project at the Fairmount Rural Cemetery, six local first responder
organizations, community and cultural projects and events.
A donation to The Woman's Club goes far to support many organizations and
worthwhile causes! Donate on our website tewksburywomansclub.org. And join us
to become a member and make a personal rewarding difference! Our next meeting is
Tuesday, January 7 at 9:00 am at the Oldwick Firehouse. Our speaker will be
Andrew Walsh from the NJ family and Addiction Institute.
"You can learn new things at any time in your life if
you're willing to be a beginner.
If you actually learn to like being a beginner,
the whole world opens up to you." ~ Barbara Shur
