Third graders starting at Round Valley school would concur. Here's how they described their library: "Outstanding, entertaining, a great place to read, where you get books, quiet, calm, fun and amazing, a place to learn, a great place to read!" We look forward to the library being a great resource for all of the students at RVS! At RVS we are Excited to Welcome our new Faculty! Megan McGregor: I am a Penn State graduate with a BA in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I spent three years in Alexandria, Virginia teaching 4th grade. I recently moved back to Morris County and I am pursuing a master's degree in Special Education. In my spare time, I love reading, going to the beach, and traveling with friends. I am excited to continue my teaching career at Round Valley Elementary! Laura Lucchetto: Hello! I am excited to join Round Valley School as the STEM Teacher. I have been in education for over 12 years, starting out in Flemington, New Jersey. My career began as a full time, third grade teacher for 8 years. While teaching in the classroom I found one of my passions, technology. It was during this time that I began teaching myself more and more about how technology works and how I can utilize it to enhance the learning of the students I teach. Aside from evolving in the classroom, I began working outside of the classroom for a company called Eduscape. Working for Eduscape has allowed me to enjoy many opportunities teaching and coaching other teachers all across the United States, along with focus even more on devices and technology integration in the classroom. From doing this work I was inspired a few years ago to leave the classroom and begin a new chapter of my career as a Technology Integration Specialist. As a Technology Integration Specialist I have enjoyed many years of working collaboratively with staff and students, turning "I wishes" into realities; and sharing my passions with students, teachers, and families. I am looking forward to getting back into the classroom this year as a STEM teacher and beginning integration work with the students and teachers at Round Valley School. Kelly Gallagher: Hello, my name is Kelly Gallagher. I am the new Health and Physical Education Teacher at Round Valley. I am excited to begin my teaching career in the school district I grew up in. I graduated from Clinton Township Middle School, North Hunterdon High School, and then The College of New Jersey in 2018. I grew up playing soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and softball. I was lucky enough to continue my love of soccer through high school and into college. This past year I worked at a special education program and coached high school soccer and basketball. I am excited to continue my career in education, while bringing my love of sports and fitness to Round Valley. Anne Teitelbaum: I am very excited for the 2019-2020 at Round Valley School! I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself to you. As you know I am the new School Nurse at Round Valley School. After many years working in the clinical setting in the hospital, I wanted to pursue an area of nursing that would allow me to make a difference in the lives of young people. Students and Staff are always welcome to come into our office and hopefully I will get to know all of you. My door is always open and I encourage my students to call me Ms. Ann. I love living in Hunterdon County and you might see me around town with my little yorkie Luna.
