Call the Township Clerk: 908.735.8800, ext 204. Residents are reminded that Trick or Treat Night is observed on October 31, 2019 per Township Ordinance. This year, Halloween falls on a Thursday evening, and Trick or Treat ends at 8:00 pm. The Halloween Curfew begins October 23, 2019, and ends on November 1, 2019. It is unlawful for any juvenile under the age of 18 to be on any public street or public place in Clinton Township between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, unless the juvenile is accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other person having legal custody or unless the juvenile is engaged in errands for medical emergencies or is attending extracurricular school activities, activities sponsored by religious or community based organizations and other cultural, education, and social events. h A l l O w e e n O b S e R vA n C e A n d C U R F e w l e A F C O l l e C T I O n P R O g R A M - 2 0 1 9 PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE CHANGES TO THE LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM THIS YEAR In order to ensure that other important Public Works tasks are effectively addressed, especially repairs to the Township's roadways and storm drains, Public Works will begin collecting leaves in the specific neighborhoods listed below as closely as possible to the posted schedule. PLEASE CHECK THE TOWNSHIP WEBSITE FOR UPDATES, AS THE SCHEDULE IS WEATHER-DEPENDENT AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE BEGINNING NOVEMBER 18th Red School House Road and neighborhoods to the South Village of Annandale and surrounding neighborhoods BEGINNING DECEMBER 9th Regional Road and neighborhoods South to Red School House Road East of Rt. 31 Residents are encouraged to compost leaves on their own property. Concentration will be on developments first. Public Works will be collecting leaves in these areas as time and resources allow but, due to other responsibilities, cannot commit to doing so within a specific timeframe. Please keep in mind the following: 1. DPW CANNOT ACCEPT: • Piles of leaves with sticks, branches and grass clippings, as this damages the machines. • Bagged leaves. 2. Please do not rake leaves into the roadway, as this obstructs drainage. 3. Do not pile onto drainage ditches Public Works appreciates your cooperation and patience to ensure the program's success
