This diverse camp guarantees to be engaging for the beginner rider, those with no horse experience and emerging riders alike. All campers receive daily riding lessons, participate in horsemanship activities like grooming, tacking, leading, learning about horses and basic horse care. Campers will also participate in fun activities like arts and crafts, and games. Trail rides and water play will be scheduled throughout the week. Openings for several sessions are still available including weeks for the horse crazy kid who just can't get enough of horses. Tickets are now available for Mane Stream's spring fundraiser, Boots on the Boardwalk, to be held on Saturday, June 8 at Red Tail Farm in Bedminster. There's no need to travel "down the shore"! Break out your best pair of boots and stroll along the boardwalk for a festive evening of shore-themed food and games all in support of Mane Stream's equine related activities and therapy services for the local special needs community. The rustic evening dancing under the stars includes chances to win a diverse selection of silent and live auction items including fun experience packages and baskets filled with something for everyone. When the auction closes at 10:00 pm, the winner of the 50/50 Raffle will go home with more than $2000, though you need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the farm or you can call the office. All proceeds will be used to improve the quality of life for individuals with physical, developmental, emotional and medical challenges. Last year's event was almost sold out, so get your tickets now! Individual tickets are $125 each. With two massive tents, there is seating for everyone. The five sponsorships levels receive reserved seating and extensive recognition options.
