Join us for a short discussion about bluebirds and then assemble a bird house to take home. It would make a great holiday gift! Each family will get one pre-cut bluebird house to build. Get to know Spruce Run Recreation Area while we take a walk in the great outdoors. Each week we will focus on a different nature topic. ADA accessible. When the weather gets cold, not all of our feathered friends head south. The ones that stay in New Jersey need some help finding food. Come to Spruce Run to make some simple bird feeders to hang in the park and some to take home to help the birds make it through the winter. Spaces are limited. Payment is required by 2:00 pm Thursday, December 13 at the Spruce Run Recreation Area office (908) 638-8572. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS. To register for any program, call Spruce Run Recreation Area (908) 638-8572 or email sprucerun@dep.nj.gov . Include your name, phone number, email, number of adults and age of children in your group. For those programs with a fee, payment is required by 2pm, two days prior to the program at the Spruce Run Recreation Area office.
