The Habitat ReStore, located in the Marketplace at Manville, 110 North Main Street in Manville, sells donated, high-quality household items at bargain prices to raise funds to build homes for local families in need of decent, affordable housing in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. Local officials and honored guests were on hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon, while a crowd that included RVHFH Board members, volunteers, invited guests and eager shoppers cheered them on. State Senator Kip Bateman, Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker, Freeholder Mark Caliguire and Manville Mayor Richard Onderko expressed congratulations and well wishes as they joined Board President Meg Helms, Manville Councilman Ron Skirkanish and Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) President & CEO Mike Kerwin in cutting the ribbon. The Habitat ReStore is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 6:00 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The store accepts donation drop-offs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the back of the building. For larger items such as furniture, donors can send a photo and/ or description to: restoredonations@rvhabitat.org to arrange a free pick up.
