1 7 O c t O b e r 2 0 1 8 Leaf pickup will begin Monday, October 29. There will not be any zones this year. DPW will have crews out at each end of the Township. This is a voluntary program, residents preferring to compost leaves or dispose of them on their own property may do so. The purpose of the leaf collections program is to help alleviate the abundance of leaves that will cover the street and clog the storm drains. It is not intended to be a lawn service that ensures all your leaves will be collected from your lawn. We will do the best we can with one pass down your street. Public Works appreciates your cooperation and patience to ensure the program's success. L E A F P I C K U P P R O G R A M / 201 8 (Leaf Pickup is SUBJECT TO CHANGE and is WEATHER DEPENDENT.) Please keep in mind the following: 1. Leaves must be raked and curbside prior to your scheduled zone date. 2. Piles of leaves with sticks, branches and grass clipping will NOT be accepted. 3. Bagged leaves will not be accepted. 4. Please do not rake leaves into the roadway, as this obstructs drainage. At the Clinton Township Community Day last April, we had a grand opening ceremony and dog parade for our new dog park in Bundt Park. Bundt Park is located right next to our Community Gardens. The park has been a huge success and we are so pleased that we are giving our dogs and community members a chance to socialize. The park has ample parking, a water source to keep your dogs hydrated, and free dog-waste b a g s . P l e a s e r e m e m b e r t o take your waste bag with you when you leave! The fencing is sectioned off for small dogs and big dogs. There are also double gates to ensure our dogs cannot escape upon entering or exiting. We have been grateful for the volunteers and donors who helped with the creation of the park and the community feedback received during the two years of planning.
