M y e x p e r i e N c e A t h u N t e r D o N p r e p s c h o o l by Linda Lauchaire "A recent event at Hunterdon Prep School provided a very special hour of welcome, talent and achievement. I received an invitation to attend the Spring Concert at Hunterdon Preparatory School (HPS), and what a treat that was! Not only did a number of students perform beautifully (there were singers, guitarists, drummers, percussionists and those who did it all!) but some even wrote their own lyrics and musical score. It was like listening to personal stories unfold, and it was a joy to hear. What made this experience even more special is that much of the proceeds from the 2016 HPS fundraiser was used to install a professional Recording Booth in the Music Lab. A wonderful investment, and great use of the funds raised to help these children develop their love of music, writing and expression. What a jewel of a school we have here right in Clinton Township!" – Linda Lauchaire (Find out more at: www.HunterdonPrep.org) g i v e b l o o D t o D A y A t h u N t e r D o N M e D i c A l c e N t e r Lives are saved everyday by blood donors in our community. Hunterdon Medical Center depends heavily on regular volunteer blood donors to maintain an adequate and safe blood supply. "Giving blood is the most generous act of kindness that one human being can do for another. When you give blood, you save lives. Blood is used for accident victims, newborn babies and their mothers who need a transfusion, people undergoing surgery, patients receiving treatment for cancer and other diseases," stated Cathy Conroy, Blood Donor Recruiter at Hunterdon Medical Center. To be eligible to donate blood a person must be at least 17 years of age, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds.
