The scholarship was open to high school seniors who have attended any WFC programs in the past. The applicants were required to write an essay explaining how the Work-Family Connection helped to lead them to college. We are extremely humbled by all of the kind words that the applicants submitted in their essays regarding our organization and our staff members. Congratulations and we wish the entire graduating Class of 2018 the best of luck in their future! t e W K s b u r y h i s t o r i c A l s o c i e t y s e e K i N g D o N A t i o N s F o r s o c i e t y ' s b o o t h A t 2 4 t h A N N u A l t e W K s b u r y F l e A M A r K e t The Tewksbury Historical Society will hold its 24th Annual Tewksbury Flea Market on Saturday, September 1 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Johnson Family/ Cedar Lane Farm field on County Route 517, Oldwick, located one-half mile north of Homestead Road. The entrance to the site is north of Homestead Road on Route 517. The rain date is Sunday, September 2. The Society is looking for donations of items to sell at its booth and is accepting clean, quality items with the exception of books, electronics older than 3 years, children's items and clothing. Donations of smalls (china, dishes, baskets, etc.) will only be accepted at the Society's Oldwick Carriage House located at 5 James Street in Oldwick on the following dates/times only (rain or shine): Saturday, July 14 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, August 4 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, August 18 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Furniture and larger bulky items should be brought directly to the Johnson Family/Cedar Lane Farm field on Route 517 on Thursday, August 30 only from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine, entering from Route 517. All contributions are tax-deductible as the law allows. Proceeds from the Flea Market help support the Society's on-going programs as well as go toward the Headquarters Building Fund.
