J o h n n e u m a n n ' S c o m m u n i t y F o r a g a r d e n P a r t y ! For the 32nd year, the Catholic Community of St. John Neumann will host their Annual Auction and Dinner Dance fundraiser on Saturday, June 2 at the church center located at 398 Route 513 in Lebanon Township. The event is being chaired by Marlene Milko of Bedminster, Suzanne Kosakowski of Tewksbury and Diane Lehnert of Annandale. The garden-themed event will showcase the church's beautiful Project Earth Garden, which provides produce to local soup kitchens and food banks, and Gift of Good Land Community Garden, which currently has beds available for local area residents to grow organic foods for themselves or others. Anne Germino of Tewksbury heads up the gardens and assists and encourages community gardeners. Following a 4:00 pm (earlier this year!) Mass held outdoors under a tent, the evening's festivities will begin with a wine and beer tasting from 5:00 to 6:45 pm on the patio overlooking the church's magnificent grounds. The evening will then continue with a silent and a live auction of fabulous items together with dinner and dancing. Up for bid will be vacations, golf outings, catered dinners, wine tastings, Yankees tickets, restaurant gift certificates and more - all generously donated by parishioners and local businesses! The event also features a DJ, 50/50 raffle, and a "Fab 5" raffle with prizes including a Troy-Bilt™ riding mower, Weber™ gas grill, Samsung™ 50" TV, kids 12V ride-on SUV with parent control, and Beats Solo2™ headphones. Heartfulness Institute offers a simple and practical way to learn relaxation and heart-based meditation.
