Get inspired by painting scenic views throughout Hunterdon County in this three-week course. Learn about perspective, color theory, foliage and atmosphere. All skill levels welcome. For adults and teens ages 16 and up. Saturday, May 12, 7 - 9 pm: Opening Receptions for New Exhibitions. Multiple Ones: Contemporary Perspectives in Printmedia, Katie Truk: Stretched Sculpture, Mary Oestereicher Hamill: regarddisregard – a collaboration with men and women who are homeless. Saturday, May 19, 10 am: Pantyhose Sculpture Workshop with Katie Truk. Join artist Katie Truk for this fun, hands-on workshop inspired by her artwork, which is made entirely of pantyhose and wire. This workshop is equal parts sculpture design and sewing. Katie's work is on view in Katie Truk: Stretched Sculpture. Tuition $70; $50 for members. For adults and teens ages 16 and up. Saturday, May 19, 10 am: Landscape and Flower Photography Workshop with Nancy Ori. Learn all about capturing color, composition, close-up photography, white balance, lighting, getting good exposures in bright sun and shade, camera controls, accessories and use of the tripod.
