1 3 A p r i l 2 0 1 8 N o r t h h u N t e r D o N r e P u b l I c a N c l u b Mindful of the sacrifices of our military veterans and the aftermath of their time in service to our country, North Hunterdon Republican Club is hosting a presentation by a representative of Veteran's Haven North (VHN) which will inform the community of what this organization does, the place it holds here in Hunterdon County, and how we as grateful citizens can be of assistance. The presentation is taking place on Thursday, April 19, beginning at 7:00 PM. There is no charge for this event and an invitation is extended to all who have interest in learning about the very important work of VHN. As cited on the VHN web site, "Under the direction of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veteran's Affairs, Veteran's Haven North will ensure that homeless veterans are treated and cared for in a dignified, compassionate, a n d p r o f e s s i o n a l m a n n e r so as to reach an optimal level of independence and aid them in re-acquiring the life skills and ability to live in the community while maintaining their self-sufficiency, dignity, and honor."
