The Inaugural 2018 Team came out to work alongside staff and clients of Freedom House at the Phillipsburg Outpatient facility. The day was kicked off by Glenn King, executive director, and Dawn Knill, director of marketing and development for Freedom House, as they welcomed the group with an informational session on the services provided by the 32 year old agency. Following a question and answer period, the group then got to work and put forth a great deal of elbow grease to spruce things up. Clients of the agency worked side-by-side with volunteers sharing personal stories with one another. "Thank you to Stephen Ellis, Phillipsburg Mayor, and Tom Palmieri, Chairman of the Warren County Democratic Committee, for connecting this group of volunteers to Freedom House," says Glenn King, "As a non-profit making connections to groups in the community is key. We are grateful for these opportunities." If your group is interested in volunteering for Freedom House in some capacity, please contact Dawn Knill, director of marketing and development at 908-617-5492 or dknill@freedomhousenj.org If you or someone you know is in need of treatment for substance abuse or co-occurring disorders please call, our clinical staff at: 908.537.6043.
