Riverside Crafting promotes fun and fellowship! It's a time set aside to enjoy the company of others and to work on your favorite craft or hobby (sewing, needle work, hand work, rug-hooking, painting, scrap-booking, cards-making, models, drawing, coloring, beading, etc.). Each person is to bring his/her own projects and supplies and we provide the space. There is lots of laughter and fun and it's always great to see and share what we have accomplished. Supplies provided: Table, extension cords, ironing board and iron. Refreshments provided: coffee, tea, water. Lunch: bring your own lunch and bring a snack to share. N O r T H H U N T e r d O N r e P U b L I C A N C L U b Always mindful of staying informed about economic development in Hunterdon County, North Hunterdon Republican Club is hosting a presentation given by Freeholder Suzanne Lagay, and Economic Development Director Marc Saluk. The presentation is being held at Chelsea's Restaurant & Pub, 1051 Route 22 East in Lebanon on Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 pm. This is an important topic with a timely message which will focus on changes in the landscape and population that have taken place over the past 50 years in Hunterdon County. We will review where we have been, where we are going, long-term goals on how to get there. Among the long list of items included i n t h e p r e s e n t a t i o n a r e t h e f a c t o r s t h a t a f f e c t o u r e c o n o m i c future , attracting and k e e p i n g i n n o v a t o r s a n d entrepreneurs, partnering with business, partnering with the workforce, partnering with communities. All of this and more will provide important information and stimulating discussion. (HONS), MNIMH, AHG., on Tuesday, March 6, at the Oldwick Manor, behind the firehouse in Oldwick, 08858. Coffee will be served at 9:00 am followed by the meeting and the program. Bronstein is a qualified Medical Herbalist through BSc at the University of Wales, England, with Post-Graduate work alongside Medical Doctors of France - in an Integrative Neuroendocrine-Immunology therapy model. She holds a BSc in Exercise Physiology and Psychology from Hofstra University, NY and has 25 years nationally certified experience in Neuromuscular, Osteopathic and Joint mobilization in manual therapies for Pain and Rehabilitation. Bronstein will discuss why the body continues its winter weather regulatory functions, when slowly emerging daylight hours and warming temperatures begin to trigger hormonal changes that impact how well one feels.
