North of the Arctic Circle: Jonathan Wall, South Highlands group chair and John Kashwick, New Jersey Chapter political chair, will talk
on their trip to Gates of the Arctic and Kobuk Valley National Parks in northern Alaska – two of the most remote and least
visited national parks in the park system. The talk will include the story of the creation of the parks as well as the impact
climate change is having on the region. The October 4 (Wednesday) meeting will take place at the North County Branch
Library (65 Halstead Street, Clinton, NJ 08809) at 7:00 pm. The program is free and open to the public.
