Food and personal care products can be donated at one of our convenient dropoff boxes in the Flemington ShopRite and the Flemington Stop & Shop. Run a Food Drive: Any group, religious congregation, company, or social organization is encouraged to organize a food drive in support of the Pantry or to set up a collection box. So mark your calendar to join us at Valley Crest Farm & Preserve for the Harvest Fest for Good, October 14, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm! This event will celebrate the harvest with hayrides, straw maze for kids, cider pressing and tasting, a food truck from Chive & Thyme Catering, beekeeping demonstrations, a farm market, yoga for children, trail tours, crafts, activities, pumpkin painting, live music and more! This is the peak of apple season so head into our orchards and PYO to take home! Also join us in our nonprofit mission to help feed those in need. We welcome non-perishable goods for a food drive supporting the Flemington Food Pantry and Clinton's Open Cupboard Pantry. You may also "pick for the pantry" while you're here and take part in our weigh-in at the end of the day to see how many pounds of nutritious fruit you helped donate! Entry to the Harvest Fest for Good is at 14 Allerton Road (GPS: Lebanon). Admission is a $20 donation for each car. The Early Education Program at Immaculate Conception School in Annandale will once again offer Rhythm and Rhyme for children twelve months to three years old. Give your child the head start he or she needs to ensure their readiness for preschool with this fantastic program that meets once each month. Little ones will have so much fun as they socialize through story time, singing, dance and so much more along with their parent/caregiver, all in a friendly Catholic school environment. The first Rhythm and Rhyme session will be held Tuesday, October 17 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Check-in is at 8:30 am with a light breakfast and a shotgun start at 10:00 am. The format is a scramble with a twist and the winning foursome will claim the Hunterdon Cup! The outing will conclude with a post networking luncheon, silent auction, networking and announcement of the winning foursome.
