Join us on October 8 for the inaugural Main Street Half Marathon of Hunterdon and what promises to be a new fall tradition to add to your list, as well as an achievement to add to your tally. Beginning in downtown Clinton with views of the iconic Red Mill, over the river, through the woods and past at least one grandma's house, the Main Street Half will be a celebration of health, and highlight some of the greatest things our area has to offer – beautiful landscape, welcoming communities and generously supportive small businesses – while making an effort to contribute in the fight against one of our area's biggest challenges – addiction. With a hometown finish on Main Street in Flemington and a party with a few hundred of your neighbors and closest new friends, we hope you'll join in the movement to bring it back local! Details and registration can be found at: www. A new two-year-old "Little Lambs" program was recently introduced and almost immediately the morning program was filled. An afternoon session has been added and is proving to be just as popular. Little Lambs is a positive first school experience for your 2-year-old, in a warm, loving Catholic school environment. The program is designed to encourage independence in a fun-filled classroom environment as the teacher and support staff foster growth in all areas of development. The program is offered September – December one day a week for 2 hours. In January the program expands to 2 days each week as our Little Lambs are prepared for their 3-year-old ICS preschool experience the following school year. Afternoon programs have also been added for three and four-year-olds. Preschool at ICS prepares children for future learning through developmentally appropriate programs with attention to individual readiness. Give your child the gift of a strong religious and academic foundation in a loving and nurturing environment. Immaculate Conception School, A 2013 Blue Ribbon School of Academic Excellence and the only Catholic school in Hunterdon County, welcomes children preschool through eighth grade. To learn more about our educational programs please visit the school website: www.ICSAnnandale. org or call the school office at 908.735.6334.
