The next regular meeting is being held on Monday, September 18 at GOP Headquarters at the Flemington Circle. Members and those desiring to learn about HCFRW are invited to attend. Meeting begins at 7:00 pm. Acutely aware of the needs of the community, a team of members and friends of HCFRW will volunteer at America's Grow-a-Row on Tuesday, October 10 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. What a great opportunity to work the earth while learning more about the hunger crisis in New Jersey and beyond. No experience necessary, so if you would like to join us, please contact Linda at 908/303-1945. Continuing its mission to strong community involvement, HCFRW is collecting warm coats for its Fall Coat Drive. All coats are donated to organizations and individuals who are most in need within Hunterdon County. Always desirous of keeping informed on what is happening legislatively in Trenton, HCFRW will hold its Third Annual Legislative Update Breakfast on Saturday morning, October 21, at The Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial. Well attended and interesting, those in attendance have the opportunity to hear from and personally meet elected officials of Hunterdon County. There's always something to learn while enjoying a delicious breakfast and great conversation. Understanding the critical importance of proper instruction and the safe use of legal firearms, HCFRW holds regular events at the shooting range. Dates for these events are posted on the website and on Facebook. HCFRW holds monthly meetings and a variety of educational events throughout the year, designed to address timely and relevant topics for active discussion, diversity of opinion, experience and culture. For information and details about any events hosted by HCFRW, please contact: hcfrw2016@gmail.com. For membership and general information, please visit us at: www.HCFRW.org or www.facebook. com/HCFRW. "In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson." ~ Tom Bodett
