The Work-Family Connection Summer Camp programs in Clinton and Chatham - as well as 2017-2018 school year registration for before and after school programs in the Counties of Hunterdon, Warren, Union and Morris – are OPEN! Parents and campers are thrilled for another year of WFC Summer Camp! Flexible scheduling allows registration for daily or weekly attendance, full day or half day, with no membership fees and no minimum days required. All full day campers receive a free camp t-shirt! Camp Hours are 7:00 am-6:00 pm with various half day options available. The Clinton Summer Camp will be located at Patrick McGaheran School in Clinton Township. Students can also avoid summer learning loss with WFC's ACE Summer Learning Camp program! Running alongside the full-day camp program, this specialty camp runs July 10 - July 28 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm, with an extended day option from 7:00 am-6:00 pm! There are over 30 educational courses for students to choose from! We are confident that there is something for everyone at ACE Summer Learning Camp. Registration for ACE Summer Learning Camp should be submitted before June 14, 2017. Full Day Summer Camp in Clinton and Chatham offers two field trips and three days of swimming each week, including themed weeks and corresponding enrichment activities. Activities include, but are not limited to: Enrichment, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), Sports, Group Games, Cooking Projects, Arts & Crafts and more! The scholarship was open to high school seniors who have attended one or more WFC program in the past. The applicants were required to write an essay explaining how the Work-Family Connection helped to lead them to college. We are very humbled by all of the kind words that they wrote! "Without five years in Work Family Connection, I am not sure where I would be and what I would be doing. As of right now, I am pleased to begin majoring in Business Administration at the school of my dreams and I know for a fact that WFC played a huge role in my decision." "The combination of my experience working with the counselors and children at the WFC and working with the people in the Special Olympics helped me to realize something very important about myself and my future." "…the help that I received at the Work-Family Connection after school enrichment program during that difficult time in my academic career allowed me to enjoy learning again." There were nine scholarship winners, who were awarded $2,000 each! Winners were awarded in the following high schools: North Hunterdon, Voorhees, Chatham and Hanover Park. Since that time, the organization has grown from one to over thirty before- and after- school programs, Kindergarten extended day programs and summer camp programs all over the State of New Jersey.
