The Tewksbury Historical Society will hold its
23rd Annual Flea Market Saturday, September
2, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Johnson/
Cedar Lane Farm field on County Route 517,
north of Oldwick. The entrance to the site is one
half mile north of Homestead Road on Route
517. The rain date is Sunday, September 3.
The Society is seeking donations of clean quality
items to sell at its booth. No books, electronics
older than 2 years, children's items or clothing
will be accepted. Society members will receive
small items (china, dishes, baskets, etc.) at the
Society's Oldwick Carriage House, 5 James
Street in Oldwick, on the following dates/times
only (rain or shine):
• Saturdays, July 29 and August 19,
from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Fridays, August 4 and 11,
from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Furniture and larger bulky items are to be
brought directly to the Route 517 farm field on
Thursday, August 31, from 12:00 noon to 5:00
pm only. Enter from Route 517. No other items
will be accepted that day. All contributions are
tax-deductible as the law allows.
Proceeds from the Flea Market help support the
Society's on-going programs as well as go toward
the Headquarters Building Fund. Vendor spaces
are available at $40 if postmarked before 8/1;
$50 thereafter. For details or more information,
