The First Biennial Historic House and Garden Tour, co-sponsored by
the Tewksbury Historical Society and the Garden Club of Hunterdon
Hills, takes place on Saturday, June 10, 10 AM - 4 PM, in Tewksbury
Township, rain or shine.
The first floor of four interesting houses and the spacious property of
five impeccable gardens will be open for inspection. The houses include
a stone house of the 18th century, a clapboard house of the early 19th century, a
collection of converted hunting cabins and a converted church. The gardens are
of varied, beautiful design with unusual flora and stunning natural surroundings.
Advance tickets are $40 until June 7 and $50 on the day of the Tour.
