While this camp-like experience is created with scouts in mind, all children are welcome to join us for a fun and exciting week! Children will come to the farm from 9am to 2pm each day for a week. Under the direction of naturalist educator, Rachel McGovern, children will complete the requirements for scout badges, participate in fun, nature- based activities and create beautiful crafts. At the end of the week, kids will come home with five completed badges or petals and a lifetime of memories. Each camp will cover badges specific for the listed scouting level. Children who do not participate in scouting may join the camp appropriate for their age level and participate in all badge activities with scouts. These activities may include hiking, learning first- aid or learning about survival in nature. Brownies, Bear and Wolf Cubs (1-3rd graders) meet the week of July 24-28; Juniors and Webelos (4- 5th grade) meet the week of July 31- August 4; and Daisies and Tiger Cubs (K-1st grade) meet the week of August 7-11. S k i t P r e S e n t S H a i r S P r ay Award-winning ShowKids Invitational Theatre (SKIT) presents the inspirational musical Hairspray. "You can't stop the beat" when Perry Award winning choreographer Maria Mantak returns to work with the "nicest kids in town". This big and bold musical about one girl's inspiring dream to dance is not to be missed in this high energy SKIT production. SKIT presents four performances of Hairspray on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30pm; Sunday, May 7 at 2:00pm; Friday, May 12 at 7:30 pm; and Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 pm.
