Serving most municipalities of North Hunterdon, the mission of NHRC is for its members to: f i n d p o l i t i c a l e x p r e s s i o n a n d recognition, to exchange ideas, t o e n c o u r a g e a n d f o s t e r g o o d g o v e r n m e n t a n d p r o m o t e Republican ideals, and to discuss and disseminate accurate information concerning political affairs. Members are provided substantial opportunity to personally hear from local, county, state and national e l e c t e d o f f i c i a l s o n p r o p o s e d legislation and on current issues that concern all citizens. Drive out to the start of the campgrounds, see what hiking in the wilderness is like and walk a mile or two of the lesser traveled Cushetunk Trail. (We'll meet at the South Parking Lot and drive to the trail-head). Saturday, May 27, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm: The Woods Aren't Scary! PARKING FEE: ($10 in-state vehicle - $20 out-of-state vehicle). Pre-registration recommended. South Parking Lot. New to the woods? Start the season with a hike on the Cushetunk Trail. We'll learn how to be safe and comfortable in the woods and do a bit of bushwhacking (off trail hiking). Flemington Tennis Club, Inc., 76 Elwood Avenue, Flemington, has memberships available for 2017! The Flemington Tennis Club, a not for profit organization, was created in 1927 by a group of Hunterdon County war veterans to promote tennis in their community. The outdoor club offers three Har-Tru courts, social activities, lessons, an annual tennis tournament, organized groups and walk-on tennis in a friendly environment.
