Serving most municipalities of North Hunterdon, the mission of NHRC is for its members to: f i n d p o l i t i c a l e x p r e s s i o n a n d recognition, to exchange ideas, t o e n c o u r a g e a n d f o s t e r g o o d g o v e r n m e n t a n d p r o m o t e Republican ideals, and to discuss and disseminate accurate information concerning political affairs. Members are provided substantial opportunity to personally hear from local, county, state and national e l e c t e d o f f i c i a l s o n p r o p o s e d legislation and on current issues that concern all citizens. Combined membership of the two clubs in NHRC will most effectively serve this purpose. Drive out to the start of the campgrounds, see what hiking in the wilderness is like and walk a mile or two of the lesser traveled Cushetunk Trail. (We'll meet at the South Parking Lot and drive to the trail-head). Saturday, May 27, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm: The Woods Aren't Scary! PARKING FEE: ($10 in-state vehicle - $20 out-of-state vehicle). Pre-registration recommended. South Parking Lot. New to the woods? Start the season with a hike on the Cushetunk Trail. We'll learn how to be safe and comfortable in the woods and do a bit of bushwhacking (off trail hiking). Flemington Tennis Club, Inc., 76 Elwood Avenue, Flemington, has memberships available for 2017! The Flemington Tennis Club, a not for profit organization, was created in 1927 by a group of Hunterdon County war veterans to promote tennis in their community. The outdoor club offers three Har-Tru courts, social activities, lessons, an annual tennis tournament, organized groups and walk-on tennis in a friendly environment.
