Teen volunteers help the participants enjoy the full benefits of playing baseball in an athletic environment structured to their abilities. The children benefit from participating in the sport of baseball, socialize, teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play! Playing with the same equipment on the same fields, the Bambino Buddy-Ball Division participants have the opportunity to experience the joys of pulling together as a team, being cheered for and earning trophies for their achievements. All practices/games will be played on Sundays from 1:00 - 2:30 at Bundt Park in Lebanon. Opening Day is April 23. Registration is $25. Registrations are due by March 31! Copies of all NHYB forms and additional information can be found at: www. NHYB.us. Questions? Please contact Adele Young at: 973.768.1225 or: bayoung2468@gmail.com. Mail all forms, with checks payable to 'North Hunterdon Youth Baseball' plus registration to: North Hunterdon Youth Baseball (Bambino Buddy-Ball Registration) P.O. Box 113 High Bridge, NJ 08829. Volunteers are always welcome! Come to the Small Works Art Show and support an important cause at the same time! The show and sale will be Saturday, April 8 from 12:00 to 8:00 pm and Sunday, April 9 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at 123 Main Street, Flemington. An artists' reception will be held Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with live music and refreshments. The public is welcome. Each artwork will sell for $100, with half going to the artist and the other half to Friends of Historic Flemington. We expect more than 100 paintings, collages and mixed media items. Most of the artwork will be no larger than 11 x 14 inches and no smaller than 8 x 10". We will have some surprises too! Artists will portray subjects of meaning to them, using a variety of media, from paint, pencil, pastel, to photography, fabric and collage. Purchased artwork may be taken home immediately. Friends of Historic Flemington supports adaptive reuse of our County seat's historic buildings. Its members believe the demolition of the Union Hotel and three adjacent buildings in the heart of the borough's historic district is misguided and unnecessary. Learn more about the group at: www. FriendsofHistoricFlemington.com and, to learn more about our art show details, click on: Art Show. For more information, contact Pat Bally at: 908.256.1108 or email: gpbally@comcast.net.
