Club member Anne Thornton, President of MSI Plumbing and
Remodeling, will address the Woman's Club of Tewksbury Township
at the Oldwick Manor, behind the firehouse on Tuesday, February 7.
Coffee and refreshments are served at 9:00 am followed by the meeting, chaired
by Anne Diamente, club president, and the program.
Thornton will give club members tips on maintaining home plumbing
to avoid problems, focusing on existing plumbing components of one's
home and not on those of a remodeling project.
The topics to be discussed at our February Meeting include:
• How to turn water off in an emergency
• Choosing the right washing machine hoses
• Water-heater maintenance concerns
• The importance of water testing and conditioning
• The tools in a "woman's tool box"
• The criteria for choosing a maintenance company
While these subjects may appear to be elementary to home owners, regulations
governing these subjects are constantly changing, challenging home owners'
problem solving. Guests, both men and women, are welcome to attend
