The leaf pickup schedule for the Township will be as follows:
Eastern Zone - Beginning Monday, October 24, 2016 - all streets east of Route 31 will be serviced. Upon
completion of those roads, the crew will move to all roads west of Route 31.
Western Zone – Will commence upon completion of the Eastern Zone. It is estimated at this time that
the Western Zone will begin about November 14.
LEAF PICKUP IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND IS WEATHER DEPENDENT.
After the Western Zone is complete, DPW will come back through the Eastern Zone for a second pickup.
Please keeP in mind the following:
1. Leaves must be raked and curbside prior to your scheduled zone date.
2. Piles of leaves with sticks, branches and grass clipping will NOT be accepted.
3. Bagged leaves will not be accepted.
4. Please do not rake leaves into the roadway, as this obstructs drainage.
This is a voluntary program; residents preferring to compost leaves
or dispose of them on their own property may do so.
The purpose of the leaf collections program is to help alleviate the abundance of leaves
that will cover the street and clog the storm drains. It is not intended to be a lawn service that
ensures all your leaves will be collected from your lawn. We will do the best we can with one
pass down your street. As mentioned above, since we start the Eastern Zone when all leaves
may not be down yet, we will make a second pass through that zone.
