This breakfast offers a unique opportunity to personally meet with our Congressman and the legislators of Hunterdon County. Congressman Leonard Lance, Senators Mike Doherty and Kip Bateman, Assemblymen John DiMaio, Erik Peterson and Jack Ciattarelli will be on hand to discuss legislative bills in the pipeline and answer questions from the floor. Cost of the breakfast is $30 if paid in advance ($25 for members), or $35 at the door ($30 for members). C o M e r u N w i t h t h e l i o N s o N o C t o b e r 9 The North Hunterdon Education Foundation is pleased to host the third annual "Running of the Lions" 5K Run and W a l k a t S p r u c e R u n Reservoir on Sunday, October 9. This event is the Foundation's premier fundraiser f o r N H H S , w h i c h attracts more than 3 0 0 r u n n e r s a n d walkers from all over Hunterdon County. T h e N H E F a l s o proudly announces t h a t S t . L u k e ' s S p o r t s M e d i c i n e i s t h e p r i n c i p a l sponsor of this year's race! St. Luke's University Health Network provides the region's most comprehensive, technically advanced care and training for athletes. They deliver on-site emergency and ongoing care for athletes at 20 high schools in Warren and Hunterdon Counties as well as two colleges and the Hunterdon, Warren, Sussex Athletic Association (HWSAA). St. Luke's has recently opened a satellite facility in the WalMart Plaza in Clinton. Ayn Carey, the Director for Business Development, believes that by being the principal sponsor for the race, St. Luke's will be able to continue their mission of fostering and encouraging student athletes and promoting safety and well-being at scholastic athletic events. Please join us for the run and bring the whole family, as there will be lots of other fun activities at the event including face painting, a DJ and prizes.
