Anne Diamente, newly elected Club President, will call the meeting to order at 9:30 am and outline the year's agenda. Following the meeting lunch, prepared by Club Members, will be served. The menu of Zucchini Soup, Shepherds Salad, Herb Marinated Salmon, Anne's Champagne Chicken and Chocolate Mousse includes some recipes from the WCTT Cookbook, "Tewksbury at Table", which will be available for purchase. As a special fundraiser, Norma Spatz will display her artworks and has generously offered to donate 25% of the day's sales to WCTT for its operating budget. A self-taught pastel artist inspired by the old masters and a love of gardening, Ms. Spatz is the recipient of Awards from the Tewksbury Historical Society, the Hunterdon School of Therapeutic Riding and the Lamington Presbyterian Church. She is represented in the 2007 White House Holiday Ornament Collection with her rendition of "Historical Morristown." She's a founding member of the Pastel Society of NJ. Reservations at $25 for members and $15 for guests are required and can be made by calling: 908.509.1855. Have you selected your college counselor? The new school year is filled with hope and perhaps a bit of anxiety too! She has experience at several NJ Blue Ribbon High Schools, at Rutgers and Drexel Universities, in addition to The College Board Headquarters in New York City. She is currently an Associate Member with the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) and sits on the Admissions Advisory Board at Drexel University. With a State certification in School Counseling, Ms. Smith has the experience and tools to help you get to where you want/need to be! There are a limited number of 10 session packages available. Sale hours are Friday and Saturday, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm; and Sunday 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, rain or shine. The two acres and 26 departments of merchandise include adult and children's clothing, appliances, antiques, pet supplies, electronics, lighting fixtures, cameras, fabric and sewing accessories, holiday decorations, sporting goods, furniture, jewelry, toys, books, decorative items, kitchen goods, and more. Credit cards (MasterCard & Visa) are accepted in every department. Proceeds help the VNA, a nonprofit healthcare organization, and give all families equal access to the agency's full range of home health and hospice care services, regardless of their ability to pay. Funds raised also ensure that all members of our community can benefit from important and innovative programs uncompensated by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance.
