Girl Scout Service Unit 81 started a new tradition and held their 1st
Annual Court of Awards and Bridging Ceremony in May at Lebanon
Borough Hall. The ceremony was attended by about 100 people and honored 29
Bronze Award recipients, 8 Silver Award recipients and 1 Gold Award recipient. Girl
Scout Troop 80790 bridged from Brownies to Juniors. The ceremony was followed
by a dessert reception. Look for news next May for the 2nd Annual Court of Awards
and Bridging ceremony! The ceremony was a very memorable event to honor the
girls who have earned the Bronze, Silver or Gold award. There was also an excellent
Service Unit bridging event for troops that were bridging to the next level of girl
scouts. The ceremony included a candle lighting and flag ceremony. All girls that
were honored gave a short description of the award projects to inspire the younger
girl scouts that came to the event. Congratulations to all the girls and their great
