At Ludo's Ballroom in Whitehouse, we cater to beginners who are reluctant to
get on the dance floor and advanced dancers who wish to improve their skills.
Our goal is to make dancing a fun, easy social event and lifetime hobby! We've
been teaching private and group lessons for over 15 years as well as holding weekly Friday
night social parties. We have helped many wedding couples with not only their first dance
but also their father/daughter, mother/son dances. We teach all of the ballroom and latin
dances and we also teach belly-dance! Learning to dance will improve your health, both

We all know the importance of eating a balanced diet to stay healthy
and strong. When it comes to exercise, the same principle of balance applies.
Cardiovascular activities that challenge the limits of your heart rate and lung
capacity lead to improved functions of both heart and lung, therefore a healthy
amount of cardio in our exercise program is vital. In addition, however, and this
is particularly true as we age, a regular dose of weight training could do miracles
for our fitness. Some of the many benefits of weight training, aside from becoming
stronger and leaner, include increased bone density, increased metabolism and
increased coordination. Lastly, another critical component in a successful exercise
program is core/balance training. Our core is our powerhouse. The core muscles
connect the trunk to the limbs, so a strong core means decreasing the chances of
lower back pain, better control at stopping and accelerating, better balance and less
risk of injury. When you think about your fitness, think about balancing
your training programs – and when the need arises for that extra push,
come to the Wellness Center to experience our group classes and/or
one-on-one personal training!
