Camp Gan Israel of Hunterdon County registration for the 2016 summer is open. A tradition of excellence since 2006, fantastic activities and best-trained counselors are a few of the reasons that Camp Gan Israel is consistently ranked among the top camps in the country, but what really sets our camp apart is the intentional community we create year after year! Chabad of Hunterdon County's Camp Gan Israel (CGI) offers an array of fun summer activities including sports, swimming, trips, as well as professional programs and entertainment such as life-building skills, performing arts, and trained sports coaches. CGI is known for their highly trained and experienced staff with a high counselor to camper ratio. Campers at CGI are divided into groups by age, from 3- to 13-years- old, to maximize individualized attention and supervision. Under the guidance of dedicated counselors, the children of each group work together as a team and learn the value of friendship and camaraderie. "Summer is a critical time in a child's life, a successful summer camp experience is more than a break from studies to let loose, every activity is a major learning experience," says Chana Greene, Director of CGI Hunterdon County. "Our program is designed to let our camper's minds run wild, enjoying nature, crafts, sports and water activities, while building character and responsibility in a relaxed, fun atmosphere." Camp Gan Israel, which runs from June 27 - July 22, is for children between the ages of 3-13. CGI is held at: Acorn Montessori, 1222 Rte. 31, Lebanon. Prices for CGI are: $275 per week with an early bird special $255 per week. Early bird registration closes on March 1.
