Eighth grade student Zach Kesselhaut designed an upgraded path that eliminates obsolete, cable based technology and replaces it with updated, higher quality equipment and live streaming. This new studio setup eliminates the need for VCRs and tuners in the classroom, making it much easier to support, and also gives access to the live morning announcements to everyone in the middle school. The CTMS TV Studio has over twenty enthusiastic students working in it this year, putting together a live news show every morning before school. Great job, Zach! The Enrichment students at Clinton Township Middle School submitted four mock-trial cases for the annual NJ Bar Foundation Law Adventure competition. Students researched the laws and current issues surrounding their topic and wrote original case briefs. Winners will be announced in March. The Poetry Club at CTMS participated in a Poetry Slam, hosted by our friends at Clinton Public School. After spending several months exploring, writing, and performing poetry, students from area middle schools gathered for a day of spoken words. Our students made new poems and new friends! Eighth graders at CTMS had a visit from Abraham Lincoln, who both entertained and educated them about Civil War era America. Thank you to our PTA, who brought us this enriching assembly!
