Thanks to the generosity of caring people, we already have more than half of the funds we need to provide blankets to those being treated for cancer at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. We need a total of 350 blankets, costing approximately $20 each. PLEASE HELP US MEET OUR GOAL. Dear Friends in Clinton Township and Other Surrounding Areas: We're writing to ask for your help to bless township and local residents who have received a diagnosis of cancer. As ours have, many of your families have been deeply impacted by cancer, and are often seeking ways to help. As you probably know a diagnosis of any cancer brings fear, uncertainty and financial stress. In response, we've created a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 called Covered with Love, Inc. to meet the most tangible needs of our local neighbors who are facing this very scary diagnosis. Covered with Love, Inc. provides others with cancer a simple, yet profound and tangible gift of a cozy blanket. It seems like a simple thing. Yes, it is! But it's a gift that makes a difference. You're losing your hair. You're cold. You feel sick from treatments. Physical comfort is hard to find. It's a very simple thing, but when you're fighting for your life and you might be living your last days on earth, a simple gift of comfort means the world to you. To know that another human being who might not even know you, cares about you and loves you means everything. That's what we, Covered with Love, Inc., are all about – loving others! We give the gift of comfort, a cozy blanket to those fighting cancer. We ask nothing in return. Please partner with us! You can trust that every dollar you give goes toward a blanket that provides comfort for a local friend or neighbor fighting cancer. Each blanket is a plush, machine washable, twin or full size blanket that can envelope someone in comfort, warmth and love! Let's be the community that loves others-friends and strangers, those who are hurting! In the end, what matters more than LOVE? THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO HELP! 1. Donate your own items (childrens', womens' and mens' clothing in good condition, home decorating items, etc.) to sell at our fundraiser. Call Kimberly at: 908.333.7221 to drop off or pick up. 2. Come to our Fundraiser Sale at the Clinton Community Center on Sat., Oct. 10, 3-6 pm or Sun. Oct. 11, 10 am - 4 pm to buy beautiful, gently used designer clothing and household/decorating items, plus a Silent Auction with items and services donated by local businesses. 3.
