Students were able to visit their classrooms on August 26 and have a brief 'Meet and Greet' with their teachers. – Upcoming Events at Round Valley School – Back to School Night: 4th and 5th grades: September 10 Welcome Back Pizza Night – September 18, from 5:30 - 7:30 Look for weekly information on upcoming events in Round Valley's Friday Facts and The Week in Pictures! Thank you to Mr. Rudolph, Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Russomano and student helpers who kept our Community Garden growing this summer! We started September focusing on our Word of the Month~ Responsibility. It is wonderful to see students put our Words of the Month into action. We recognize their accomplishments during our All School Meetings, which take place once a month. ton Tohip MiddScho We are delighted to welcome the following new staff to CTMS for the 2015-16 school year! Ms. Dorothy Daniello is e x c i t e d t o b e r e j o i n i n g t h e f a c u l t y a t C l i n t o n T o w n s h i p M i d d l e S c h o o l . M s . D a n i e l l o p r e v i o u s l y t a u g h t i n C l i n t o n T o w n s h i p M i d d l e S c h o o l a s a Grade 7 Science Leave Replacement teacher and Grade 8 Home Instruction t e a c h e r . A d d i t i o n a l l y , M s . D a n i e l l o w o r k e d as a Grade 8 Science/ Special needs teacher at the Orange Preparatory Academy in Orange, NJ, as a 4-8th grade Science teacher for the Somerset County Educational Services Commission, and as a 7th grade Science teacher in Hillsborough Middle School. She graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 1994 with a BS in Pharmacy and returned to school to become certified in teaching elementary school, middle school science and special education. Besides having a passion for teaching science, she also enjoys learning about and sharing her knowledge of the use of technology in the classroom, photography, reading, knitting and hiking with her two daughters and husband. Ms. Daniello is looking forward to the start of the school year and becoming a part of the Clinton Township community. Carolyn Giordano is thrilled to be starting as a 7th grade Social Studies teacher at Clinton Township Middle School this fall. She attended Rutgers University where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and went on to receive her Social Studies teaching certification from Rider University. Since graduating, she has taught middle school Social Studies in Pine Hill, New Jersey, as well as high school World and American History in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Her experiences at both schools allowed her to become involved in many school activities and events, including Spirit and Award nights. Carolyn is excited to move to the area with her puppy and become a part of the Clinton Township School District. Katherine Johnson is starting the school year as a 7th and 8th grade Special Education teacher at Clinton Township Middle School. Mrs. Johnson has worked as a 6th grade English-Language Arts teacher at Golden Door Charter School in Jersey City, as well as a 6th grade teacher at North Plainfield Board of Education. She graduated from Kean University in 2010 with a BA in Special Education, as well as English. Mrs. Johnson enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog. Besides having an enthusiasm for teaching, she also enjoys kayaking and visiting the beach. Mrs. Johnson is excited to start the new school year with Clinton Township Middle School. J e s s i c a M o o r e i s e x t r e m e l y e x c i t e d to begin at Clinton T o w n s h i p M i d d l e School as a 7th grade S c i e n c e t e a c h e r . Science has always been her favorite subject and she loves to share her love of science with her students. Prior to joining t h e s c i e n c e t e a m a t Clinton Middle School, she taught middle school Science at Saint Michael School in Netcong, New Jersey. There, she taught many lessons t h a t i n c l u d e d S T E M activities and laboratory experiments. Jessica is an enthusiastic teacher and is very passionate about what she teaches. She is looking forward to becoming part of the Clinton Township community. Kerri Siedenburg is excited to be joining the faculty at Clinton Township Middle School as a School Psychologist. She graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and went on to receive her Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from Rider University. Through all of her various experiences, Kerri has been able to work with students of all ages, and has found great satisfaction in working in the public school setting. Kerri is eager to join the Clinton Township School District community, and contribute to a successful and positive learning environment.
