Founded in 1987, the "Home" offers a comprehensive palette of rehabilitative services focused on providing healing to the mind, body and spirit/soul. Services include group and individual addiction counseling, case management, health awareness, nutrition education, training in housekeeping and life skills, a family program and much more! As a result of a $275,000 grant received from the NJ Department of Community Affairs, a nursing station, counseling rooms, conference/classroom and other needed space was constructed in the unfinished first floor portion of the "Barn" which will increase the quality of life for residents and enable all clinical services at the facility to be 100% handicapped accessible. An added benefit is that the administrative staff will be able to relocate from their current Main Street location to the second floor of the center which will eliminate rental fees and finally have all Good News Home staff at one location. The Ribbon Cutting Celebration will take place Thursday, August 6 from 11:00 am -2:00 pm. All are invited. Please RSVP to: Robin@goodnewshome.net or: 908.806.7913, extension 26 by August 3. Tours will be given and refreshments will be served.
