The Hunterdon Mohawks Lacrosse Club continues to witness significant growth, making us the largest lacrosse program serving sending districts of North Hunterdon High School, and one of the largest youth organiza- tion in Hunterdon County. The purpose of the Mohawk program is to introduce, develop, and instruct boys and girls in the game of lacrosse, so that they develop a life-long love for this sport. Our experienced coaches teach players how to work hard, to become fundamentally sound and to learn to love playing this game. We offer a Junior Mohawk program, designed for boys and girls, Kin- dergarten through second grade. Our boys and girls program offer teams from third to eighth grade. Among our coaches we have a former Division 1 coach, Level 1 Certified coaches and former collegiate players. When a youth player learns to love the game of lacrosse and has a desire to play at a higher level, we introduce, through our partnerships with "select" lacrosse clubs, higher level opportunities to help them improve their game. Exposing our youth players to other styles of coaching, help them to become a well-rounded player as they prepare to play in high school. The philosophy of the Mohawks has been incredibly successful as wit - nessed by the championships won by both the boys and girls teams at North Hunterdon High School. Many of the boys on North's team are a product of our Mohawk program, and nearly all of the girls on the girl's team are alumni of our Mohawk program! To register, please visit our new website: www. HunterdonMohawksLacrosse.com. Are you interested in coaching? Have any questions? Please contact Maria Grant at: mohawkslacrosse@gmail. com. The Clinton Historic District, incorporated as a town in 1865, could be described as chronicling the growth of a crossroads hamlet on a major turnpike that grew up in the 1840s and continued into the post-Victorian era. Clinton is distinguished by its unique location at a great source of water power with major limestone cliffs inviting to quarry operation. It has always been attractive to entrepreneurs - originally Englishmen, later Germans and Irish - which led to the development of a substantial town, flourishing as an agricultural and mill center. Today the historic town, known nationwide by its landmark Red Mill and Hunterdon Art Museums, is considered a cultural center and visitor attraction with its charming walkable downtown, unique blend of friendly small businesses, locally owned shops, restaurants and services surrounded by beautiful countryside. C o m Clinton Township Homes Market Unexpectedly Strong! This has been a bit of an odd year for Clinton Township real es- tate. It seems the long series of snow storms knocked the wind out of the early Spring market and it never really came roaring back the way we'd have thought. The trend since 2012 has been for more sales and higher prices every year, as you can see on my Market News blog at ClintonRealEstate.com, and 2014 is no exception. Perhaps because the Spring market was weaker than expected, this Fall market, generally the second best time to sell, has shown unexpected strength with prices often slightly above comparable sales only six months earlier. Buyers are out there and they're looking for a home like yours. Donald Sherblom, Coldwell Banker, Clinton, 908.735.8080 ext. 132. Please call my cell: 908.797.9900.
