It's not too late to register for the North Hunterdon Education Founda- tion's (NHEF) first annual "Running of the Lions" 5K Family Fun Run/ Walk taking place on Sunday, October 12 at Spruce Run Reservoir! Whether you're a serious runner or just want to get out and get moving – this is the event to attend! There will be medals awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finish- ers in each age category and t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 registrants. "The North Hunterdon area has an extremely active school commu- nity," said Dr. Richard Bergacs, NHHS principal. "We are asking par- ents, students and local business for their support of our newly-formed Education Foundation. This event provides a great opportunity for everyone to get out and have a fun, physical day at the race. We want to start a new fall tradition at North to help kick-start the school year."
