7 M a r c h 2 0 1 4 SPRING EGG HUNT & WAGON PARADE NEW & REVAMPED! Celebrate the arrival of Spring at this festive annual event. Decorate the family wagon and enter the contest! Prizes will be awarded for Funniest, Prettiest and Most Creative decorated wagons. Follow the Easter Bunny after the Wagon Parade to the Egg Hunt area for goodies and special prize eggs! Play games and do the "Bunny Hop" inside the inflatable bounce! Pet the new baby chick and ducks at the Petting Zoo! Face Painting by Consie. Music & Games by Dr. D! Take photos with the Easter Bunny. Appropriate for toddlers through 3rd grade. This event is limited to Clinton Township residents. Registration is not required. Volunteers are needed for this event. Celebrate Clinton Township with your neighbors and friends. Activi- ties will start following the Annual Country Run. We hope to see everyone at this wonderful com- munity event! The Snack Bar will be open all day. Also featuring: Food and Drink Vendors - Come for lunch – stay for dinner! If you are interested in volunteering or being a vendor, please contact Tom Silvia at 735-5999 ext. 1 2014 SUMMER REC CAMPER REGISTRATION OPENS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 1st Children will be grouped according to grade and will enjoy FIVE WEEKS of organized games, sports, crafts and events. Our trained and enthusiastic staff takes pride in making Rec lots of fun for all campers. Field Trips and Archery available at additional costs. Ages: Kindergarten-8th grade (Kindergartener must be 5 yrs of age by 10/1/14) Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 noon Dates: June 30–Aug 1 (closed July 4) Location: Clinton Twp. Middle School Fee: $200 per resident child, $100 third plus child discount, (non resident fee $270) Extended Morning Care Option: Fee: $70 per child. Children may be dropped off as early as 8:00 am. Parents/Guardians are required to accompany children to the designated class room to sign chil- dren in with Morning Care Staff. Our staff will escort campers to the appropriate group by 9:00 am. SAFE BOATING AND PERSONAL WATERCRAFT COURSE Facilitated by Coast Boating School of Toms River, NJ. This basic boating class is the approved class for the mandatory certification of all individuals to operate any type of powerboat or personal watercraft. Course covers basics such as rules of the road, laws and safety. This 2 night course is suitable for adults & children 10 years and older. NASBLA approved for insurance discount. Spring Dates: Wednesday 3/12 and Thursday 3/13 Times: 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm (both sessions) or Wed. 4/16 & Thurs. 4/17 Location: NHHS – Room TBA Fee: $80 resident and $90 non-resident VINYASA YOGA Co-taught by Lisa Intrabartola, RYT-200 and Alison Belli Levine, CYT-200. Strengthen and stretch mind and body with these series of classes, which links traditional sun saluta- tions with a rhythmic series of yoga poses. Includes pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation practice. Registration deadline: Monday 4/21 Spring: Mondays, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2 (No Class 5/26) Location: CTMS Room C-108 Time: 7 - 8pm Fee: $75 for resident and $85 non-resident SMARTSITTER The motto of this excellent program is, "The best sitter is a SmartSitter". If you want to be the best sitter, sign up now for this comprehensive baby sitting course for boys and girls age 11 to 16 years. SmartSitter instructors are Registered Nurses with the knowledge and expertise to prepare students in every way to become successful, safe and confident baby sitters. Through many hands-on activities, the students learn the skills to care for infants through school age children. Participants receive a 35 page illustrated manual complete with family emergency forms and a letter to introduce them to prospective families, plus a SmartSitter certificate. Some of the topics covered include: Infant and Child Care First Aid Fire Safety and Prevention Handling Choking Emergencies Business of Babysitting Accident Management and Prevention Date: Saturday, March 29 Location: NHHS – Room TBA Time: 8:45 am to 2:45 pm Fee: $60 resident and $65 non resident ZUMBA & ZUMBA GOLD Facilitated by Sandy Polsky certified Zumba and Zumba Gold instructor Zumba consists of dancing to upbeat, joyful Latin music, and it's a blast! You don't have to know how to dance to join in! Zumba Gold, a slower-paced version, also is being offered on the same dates. It is terrific for weight loss, stress-reduction, cardio, and just feeling good. So much more FUN than the treadmill! Come out join us and have FUN.
