So far this year, there are examples of Clinton Township homes selling in good time at a great price. But if you want something more than a vague sense of the market based on my personal experience, you need to look at the ratio of supply and demand or the absorption rate, how many months would it take to sell every home on the market? In January 2014, the absorption rate was 8 months. Last year, the rate was 11 months as late as March, then robust Spring sales brought the rate down to 3-4 months. With that absorption rate, that advantageous supply/demand ratio, home prices rose briefly. This year should be even better. Let's talk real estate. TM We do!!! It's our specialty! River's Edge Baking, LLC opened in 2008, focusing on baking delicious and unique cupcakes using only the finest ingredients. NO MIXES HERE! All our wonderful desserts are made from scratch, the way we would make them for our family. In 2008, we opened a small baking business in Clinton. After 2 years of retail baking, we narrowed our business focus to better serve the majority of our customers and left the retail side and concentrated on custom catered desserts. Here we are, 5 years later, bigger and busier than ever! But we just can't stop there. We joined the Stangl Factory Farmer's Market to do more of what we love... baking desserts for our community. At the Stangl Factory Farmer's Market, we bring freshly baked cupcakes, scones, and brownies (along with a few other delicious treats). Our featured selections change weekly, and we welcome suggestions from our custom- ers and friends. But Saturday isn't the only day you can sample our delectable des- serts. We are always baking and we deliver orders right to your door. Everything is custom made to meet your needs… from a small dessert for 2, to birthday parties, weddings and corporate events. Just give us a call at 908.797.9204 or check us out on Facebook. m s i p L u m b i n g a n D R e m o D e L i n g March 17-26 is Fix a Leak Week, sponsored by the U.S. Environ- mental Protection Agency's WaterSense program. It's a great time to check your home for water leaks or drips. As the population rises, so does the demand for water. Fixing typical toilet, faucets and other pipe leaks around your home can save your family more than 10 percent on water bills. Those little drips in your faucet can really add up over time; a leaky faucet that drips once a second can waste more than 3,000 gallons in a year. Another good idea is to replace old toilets with low flush models. On average a low flush toilet uses less than half the amount of water than a regular toilet. Call MSI Plumbing and Remodeling today at: 908.735.4438 and schedule a plumber to talk about how you can save money on your water bill.
