BE AN ANGEL The HCYMCA invites the community to join them in spreading some joy this holiday season! The Y's Angel Patrol program collects gift donations to be distributed to individuals and families in our community facing economic hardship and also assists other non-profit agencies in Hunterdon with fulfilling their clients' needs. You can help in the following ways: • Sponsor an individual or family • Contribute to the general collection General collection items needed include toys (please no stuffed animals), canned and boxed food items, household paper goods, children's clothing sizes 3t-12, diapers, pull-ups (all sizes), adult clothing (all sizes), toiletry items and certain household items. A full listing of items needed is posted at: www.hcymca.org. All items donated must be new and unwrapped. Past recipients of the community's generosity include: Anderson House, Bridgeway Supportive Housing Services, Family Promise, Fisherman's Mark, Flemington Food Pantry, Friendship Center for New Beginnings, Hunterdon Youth Services, Open Cupboard Food Pantry, Safe in Hunterdon, and St. Agnes, Lambertville. Many individuals and families also receive assistance. The Angel Patrol collection period runs from 11/11/13 to 12/11/13. Items can be dropped off between those dates at either the Deer Path facility at 144 West Woodschurch Road, Flemington or the Round Valley facility at 1410 Route 22 West, Annandale.
