For decades Steve has serviced the computers for our Newsletter business. I am as technologically challenged as Steve is an expert. I am usually reluctant to recommend any service people to friends because everyone's needs vary and what pleases me might be unacceptable to another, but I am going out on a limb to recommend Steve Kesselhaut. Help Lebanon Reformed Church S u pp o r t O u r T r o o p s www.operationshoebox.com In July, Lebanon Reformed Church members partnered with the community to support our Hometown Marine, Cpl Wallace J. Crowley III of Lebanon and the 2nd Battalion 8th Marines, by holding a supply drive at the Clinton ShopRite. Lebanon Reformed Church members would like to thank ShopRite and their employees for their help and all who contributed to this outreach for our troops deployed in Afghanistan. The drive was a huge success! Care boxes will reach the 2/8 Marines and others in active duty through both the Lebanon Reformed Church and Operation Shoebox. It's not too late to join support of our troops! If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to purchase goods to send to our troops, please mail a check to: Lebanon Reformed Church, 100 Brunswick Ave. Lebanon, NJ, 08833 and include the word "troops" in the memo. C h i l d A dvo cac y G r o u p is R a i s i n g A wa r e n e s s Court Appointed Special Advocates of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties (CASA SHaW) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization committed to advocating for children living in foster care under the jurisdiction of the NJ Family Court. CASA SHaW recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteer advocates who identify needed services, make best interest recommendations to the court and ensure that assistance is made available to these children with the ultimate goal of moving them to safe, loving and permanent homes. The program has developed a presentation designed to raise awareness about the issues of child abuse and neglect, including what constitutes abuse, what abuse can look like, who is considered a mandated reporter and how to make a report. The organization hopes to share this 2-hr presentation with other organizations that work with children (incl. preschools, coaches, and instructors). Call Tracy Heisler at 908.689.5515 or email: tracey@casashaw.org if you're interested in free CASA SHaW training. 2 0 1 3
