My name is Audra Giese and I serve as the President of Operations and Outreach at MSI Plumbing and Remodeling. Most people simply call me the P.O.O. I grew up right here, graduated from North Hunterdon and now help manage our second-generation family business. June brings heat and humidity that test every air conditioner. A quick tune-up can help your system run more efficiently and keep your home comfortable during the hottest weeks of the year. If certain rooms feel uneven or your AC sounds tired, it may need a little attention. You can schedule HVAC service online anytime through our website at: www. MSIPlumbingandRemodeling.com. It is the easiest way to stay cool without waiting on hold. Or, call us today at: 908.735.4438. Wishing you a comfortable start to summer! t h e K i d S W h o S K a t e l e a r n S o m e t h i n g d i f f e r e n t Growing up in Pittstown, there wasn't always much to do besides sit in front of a screen or play organized sports. For me, skateboarding became something different. What made skateboarding so powerful wasn't just learning tricks. It was learning resilience. When you skate, you fail constantly. But eventually, you learn to get back up, try again, and keep pushing forward. That mindset carries into every part of life. Skateboarding also gave me a sense of belonging. No matter your background, skill level, or personality, there is a place for you in the skate community. Some of my closest friendships came through skating with other people, challenging each other, and growing together. Looking back, skateboarding opened doors and opportunities in my life that I never expected. More importantly, it helped shape who I became. That's why I believe in giving kids a chance to skateboard and be active outdoors. This summer, Garden State Adventures is hosting four weeks of youth Skateboard Lessons. Lessons will take place on Sundays 6/28 - 7/19. Lessons with our pop-up skatepark will happen at the Red Mill Museum Village's Pavillion. Learn more or register at: www.
