On Sunday, May 3, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Susan McLellan Plaisted, Proprietress of Heart to Hearth Cookery, will be at the Bouman-Stickney Farmstead for a hands-on ice cream program for the entire family! For this demonstration, ice cream will be made in a reproduction 18th-century sabotiere. For the most hands-on experience, arrive at 1:00 pm to help prepare the ice, turn the sabotiere, and have just a taste. Documented 18th-century flavors will be reproduced using original receipts (recipes). Put on your dancing shoes for a night of family fun as the Readington Museums host their biannual Barn Dance on May 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm!
