There are so many options between cream, liquid, and powder that I was wondering if you had a recommendation on what I should try and how would I apply it? – Annie Dear Annie, when choosing a blush for the first time, I would recommend a powder blush as this is probably the most user-friendly option. Powder blushes look natural and are easiest to blend so if you were to over-apply it, it is really easy to blend it out to soften it. If you want the blush to pop more, it is also easy to add more blush without it looking too harsh on the skin. You would also need to pick up a loose powder blush brush to apply it and it should be applied starting at the center of the cheeks and then brushed upwards toward the temples. If you want a more dewy look, then you might want to look into a liquid or cream blush formula, but I find that these can require a little more practice in learning how to blend them seamlessly and these might not last as long as a powder blush unless it is set with a powder afterwards. – Thanks, Meli To schedule a makeup consultation or book a makeup artist for your next big event, contact Meli at: 908.240.7920.
